Bill's Drums in the Living Room

My housemate Varya & her buddy Bill are in a one-act play in UBC's Brave New Play Rites 2005. They have been rehearsing in our living room. The drums look great amongst the foliage of my indoor tropical jungle.

The View From My Bedroom Window

Where Am I?

This is just down the block from my house in the direction of Kefi's apartment. In fact, I took this picture while walking Kefi home the other day. We walked down West 5th Avenue, the street that Adad & Kefi used to walk down regularly as kids on their way to Bayview Community School. This big old palm was looking so much like it might be in Florida, that I thought I would take its picture to show my parents.
