Wreck Beach Butoh

Kokoro Dance's Wreck Beach Butoh Project was a life highlight. The 2 weeks of rehearsal in the studio were challenging & there was a lot of choreography to learn. My brain & body are grateful for having had this experience. We were 22 dancers in a full out ensemble performance piece. Nude & painted white, we danced in the wet sand & shallow water, the surf & seagulls were our soundscape. The beach was 390 steps down a cliff face. Awesome!
